ITINERARY

Day 1 - Santiago

Welcome to Chile / Introduction to the City

Home to a variety of seafood and marvelous Cabernet Sauvignon, Santiago is considered as the safest city in South America. Capital of Chile, the country of the extremes, it is the perfect base to explore the country, or just enjoy a few days between the mountains and the ocean.
Today discover the vivid capital of Chile and learn more about its eventful past through the most important sites of Santiago de Chile.

Day 2 - Valparaiso

Valparaiso / Viña del Mar

Discover the quirky town of Valparaíso and stroll through bohemian neighborhoods that offer spectacular views over the Pacific Ocean. This picturesque city was declared World Heritage by UNESCO.Visit Casablanca Valley on the way to Valparaiso and learn about the winemaking process of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. After tasting delicious wines, discover the quirky town of Valparaíso and stroll through Viña del Mar, a jet set resort of yesteryear.

Day 3 - Santiago to San Pedro de Atacama

Travel to San Pedro de Atacama

This morning we will escort you to the airport for your At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport (shared service).

Upon arrival to Calama airport you will be transferred (shared service) to San Pedro de Atacama hotel.

Welcome to San Pedro!

San Pedro de Atacama is a small town in the driest desert of the world. Little adobe houses and cozy restaurants are the base to explore one of Chile’s most spectacular sceneries.

Day 4 - San Pedro de Atacama

Desert Exploration

Today experience one of the most astonishing phenomenon produced by nature, and be impressed by contrasting colors produced by the steam columns in the highest Geothermal field in the world.You’ll have the unique opportunity to swim in the Tatio spring waters, rich in minerals, and visit amazing geological shapes located in one of the world’s driest and most hostile zones of the world: the Atacama Desert.

Day 5 - San Pedro de Atacama

Desert Exploration

Inside the Atacama Salt Flats visit the Cejar Lagoon. It´s waters with high salt content has a great floating effect which makes all a relaxing and fun experience. This is complemented by the beautiful landscape of turquoise waters, volcanoes and the salar.Visit the beautiful Salar Eyes, two wells of fresh water in the middle of the desert and the impressive Tebinquinche lagoon while enjoying an appetizer watching the reflection of the Andes in its salt waters, making this an unforgettable experience.

Day 6 - South to the Lake District

Flight to Puerto Montt / Arrival in Chilean Lake District

At the appropriate time, you will be driven to Calama airport (about two hours away in shared service).Upon arrival in Puerto Montt, the lakeside gateway to Chilean Patagonia, you’ll travel by land to Puerto Varas, which is just 30 minutes away. This beautiful lakeside town, better known as the “City of Roses”, is the gateway city to the Chilean Lake District, and faces the great Osorno Volcano.

Day 7 - Puerto Varas

Volcanoes and Lagoons

After breakfast, enjoy a drive to Ensenada, visiting the enchanting Laguna Verde, at the foot of Osorno Volcano within Vicente Perez Rosales National Park before heading to the slopes of the towering Osorno. Enjoy a short hike over lava fields to reach the spectacular views over Llanquihue Lake and the Chilean Lake region.Hike in the woods through Chile’s oldest National Park Vicente Pérez Rosales to the impressive Petrohue waterfalls with its beautiful crystal green waters and gaze at the famous Osorno volcano.

Day 8 - Puerto Varas

Free day in Puerto Varas

Enjoy a day at leisure to enjoy one of the many activities that Puerto Varas has to offer, like kayaking at the National Park, horseback riding through Lake Llanquihue or a farm day tour at one of the beautiful local Estancias.

Day 9 - Return to the Capital

Flight to Santiago

At the appropriate time, you will have a private transfer from your hotel to Puerto Montt Airport.Welcome back to Santiago!

You don’t have any scheduled activities from now… but, we recommend that you keep on exploring! Santiago de Chile is an exciting city, full of history and architectural treasures.

Day 10 - Homeward Bound

Return Home
