Valparaiso / Viña del Mar

Discover the alluring town of Valparaíso as you stroll through bohemian neighborhoods decorating Chile’s Pacific coast. This picturesque city was declared World Heritage by UNESCO thanks to its quirky features and historic landmarks.

On the way to Valparaiso, we’ll make a stop in the Casablanca Valley to learn about the local winemaking process of cool coastal white varieties like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. After a delectable tasting, you’ll get to wander Valparaíso and stroll through Viña del Mar, a paradise frozen in time.

Travel to San Pedro de Atacama

This morning we will escort you to the airport for your flight to Chile’s rugged desert region. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to the little town of San Pedro de Atacama.

This small town is in the driest desert in the world. Appreciate the little adobe houses and cozy restaurants throughout the city that provide a relaxing base for travelers exploring one of Chile’s most spectacular sceneries.

Desert Exploration

Today experience one of the most astonishing phenomena produced by nature as you stand witness to the colorful dancing steam columns in the highest Geothermal field in the world. Enjoy a swim in the Tatio’s mineral-rich spring waters, and visit the unique geological formations in one of the world’s driest and most hostile zones: the Atacama Desert.

Flight to Puerto Montt / Arrival in Chilean Lake District

Today, we will escort you to Calama airport for a short flight to the south. Upon arrival in Puerto Montt, the gateway city to Chilean Patagonia, you’ll drive to Puerto Varas. This beautiful lakeside town, better known as the “City of Roses,” faces the great Osorno Volcano, offering travelers wondrous views for every moment of adventure.

Volcanoes and Lagoons

After breakfast, we’ll drive you to Ensenada for a journey to the enchanting Laguna Verde at the foot of Osorno Volcano. Then, it’s time to head to the slopes of the towering Osorno. Take a short hike over lava fields before reaching a spectacular viewpoint overlooking Llanquihue Lake and the Chilean Lake region. Wander the woods through Chile’s oldest National Park, Vicente Pérez Rosales, and encounter the impressive Petrohue waterfalls with their beautiful crystal green waters at the foot of the famous Osorno volcano.

Free day in Puerto Varas

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore some of the many activities that Puerto Varas has to offer, like kayaking in the National Park, horseback riding through Lake Llanquihue, or a tour of one of the beautiful local Estancias.

Flight to Santiago

At the appropriate time, we will escort you from the hotel to Puerto Montt Airport for a flight back to the capital city of Santiago. Spend your last day in Chile wandering the vibrant city, learning about its unique history and treasured culture.

Bid farewell to Chile

Going home is the worst part of any private Chile vacation, but at Kuoda, we’ll do our best to make it as smooth and hassle-free as possible. We’ll bring you to the airport for your return flight for the journey home. Buen Viaje!
