Visit the Lighthouse at the End of the World Set sail through the Beagle Channel to discover one of the most unique sites, nicknamed the lighthouse at the end of the world. The Les Eclaireurs lighthouse was initially built in 1918 to aid vessels leaving and arriving in Ushuaia. Decorated with stoic red & white stripes, this is a Ushuaia landmark every traveler should see. Plus, as you sail to the lighthouse, you’ll pass a small islet where you can catch a glimpse of some cormorants and sea lions.
