Kuoda Travel is a wonderful tour company. Lotte, our trip advisor, did an exceptional job of arranging a 30 day tour of mainly pre-inca civilizations. Many of the ruins we visited in September and October 2013 are relatively unknown, but so astounding that we ran out of wow’s long before reaching touristy Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. Despite the remoteness of some of the sites (e.g., Chavin de Huantar, Kuelap, el Brujo), food and accommodations were always suitable. Indeed, many of our hotels were far above the three star standard we had requested.

Our guides were knowledgeable, conscientious, accommodating, and friendly. And our drivers were just the best. It is too difficult to pick the best part of our trip, because the whole thing was the best part, but we certainly appreciated having just the two of us in our own tour group. We could leave for and arrive at a site earlier than bus tours, and our guides always knew where to go to avoid crowds. Mery and her staff at every location went out of their way to make this the trip of a lifetime, and we have no reservations about highly recommending their services to anyone.
