Jeremy: Incredible guide. Really, really enjoyed getting to know him. He and I share a love of photography, and that made him the perfect guide for me. I can’t thank him enough.
Urubamba: Tambo del Inka was exceptional in every way. Good location, good food, wonderful rooms. Highly recommend.
Ollantaytambo: We really enjoyed this visit the ruins were neat, but Rebecca in particular enjoyed visiting a traditional home in the village.
Pisac: Wow, that’s high up! Enjoyed seeing the ruins. Probably enjoyed the marketplace even more.
Train to Aguas Calientes: Stunning!
Machu Picchu: Great weather – no rain. Wonderful tour.
Sumaq hotel: Very nice. Looked like the best option around. We were comfortable.
Hike up MP Mountain: Hard!!! Glad I did it.
Rebecca and Tim enjoyed the salt pans and the agricultural research area, but at that point I think anything Inca started to look alike. The visit to the weaving village and lunch in a house were big hits.
I’m left with a favorable impression of Peru. I will come back! Really high on Kuoda. I have thought several times that if I had planned this trip on my own, we would have been in serious trouble. I appreciate all that the team did for us in Peru.
