My wife and I just returned from a two week vacation to the sacred valley/Machu Picchu in Peru and the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador. Kuoda did an excellent job creating an iternarary and we were greeted at the airport by a guide at every locale. We had a personal guide and driver throughout our trip. In the sacred valley Machu Picchu portion of the trip our guide Julio was very knowledgeable and tailored the trip to our interests as he got to know us which was awesome.

Our driver in Peru was Luis and he was top notch, it is not easy to drive there and my wife and I felt safe in his hands. Not only did we see the typical tourist sites that one goes to Peru to see but we had a few excursions that were off the beaten path which really set this trip apart. One of our favorites was to a small village of maras where the women are expert weavers and they greeted us warmly into their homes as well. That was a special memory for us. We also ate lunch at private residences on two occasions, not only where these some of the best meals of the trip, it was nice to get to know and talk to people who live in the region. Our trip to the Galapagos was incredible as well. The only critique I have on this portion was I would have done some more research about the islands and told kuoda of our interest so they could have tailored the trip to what we wanted to see. The snorkeling in the Galapagos was amazing as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience. The trip can be tailored to your interests and all the guides and drivers we encountered were wonderful. Kuoda gives excellent customer service and the owner of the company, Mery Calderon, came to meet us personally at the airport in cusco and gave my wife and I parting gifts. How many other travel companies do that!
