I was skeptical of their 5-star reviews — nothing’s that perfect, right? But after 10 days in Peru with my wife and another couple, I get it. From Lima to Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu, every detail was flawlessly handled.
Our guides and drivers were professional, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. We had a private pottery class at Cerámicas Seminario with Pablo Seminario and Marilú Behar, a VIP lunch at UNU Restaurant with a Peruvian Paso horse demonstration, and a visit to the Quechua village of Umasbamba to meet women weavers preserving ancient Incan techniques.

We used Kuoda to plan our travel to Machu Picchu with all the sites in between. I highly recommend this company. They give white glove service! They made it easy to navigate everywhere we went and the hotels and private lunches and private transfers made us feel like royalty. All of our guides and drivers were great, but we spent the most time with Pilar and Briggs. They were wonderful! Kuoda and its guides know so much about the area and its history and we learned a lot. We booked a private tour through Kuoda, and though it was expensive, we think we got a lot a value out of the service they provided. Our guide Julio was a font of knowledge about Machu Picchu and the Incas, and took us to out-of-the-way and little known places (such as a beautiful countryside restaurant where we had an amazing meal) that we never could have found on our own. He was also a pretty darn good photographer as well! Which really helped us preserve some of the amazing memories of Machu Picchu without having to resort to a selfie stick! He also introduced us to some highly talented indigenous craftspeople who explained their techniques for producing all the lovely wool garments you see in Peru. Would highly recommend.

Multi-generational trip to Peru with 8 people. Kuoda did a great job arranging the entire trip – wouldn’t have done it any other way. Was so nice to not have to make any decisions – just show up and they took it from there. Hotels and restaurants they chose were fantastic. Our Cusco guide, Dimas was a stand-out. Very professional, knowledgeable and personable. And thank heaven for our driver, Wilbur. He effortlessly navigated challenging driving, tight parking, and was always right where we needed him to be. We went to Machu Picchu two days in a row and got views both days. Glad we did two days in the event there was cloud cover one of the days. The culinary tour Kuoda arranged in Lima made for a good mix of activities. There were eight of us. We had a wonderful time. We told Kuoda where we wanted to go and do and they provided us an itinerary. We requested a few changes and they readily adopted our changes.
When we arrived in Lima, they me us at the airport and stared our tour right away. They took very good care of us and eliminated any worries we might have had about. We stayed in great hotels and dined at wonderful restaurants. Our guide through Machu Picchu was wonderful: he new the park and its history. He led us through the park at our pace. Dimas did a great job for us. He also was our guide through Cusco. Bart led our tour of central LIma.

My husband and I loved the Sacred Valley. Tambo del Inka was by far my favorite hotel – so lovely! We really enjoyed the ruins here and making our own spirits! Machu Picchu was of course gorgeous and we’re so happy we got to go and had such fantastic views! If we could do it again, I would’ve preferred circuit two and circuit three as opposed to circuit two and circuit one, as we were unable to climb Machu Picchu Mountain with the children.
Having the guides and drivers made such a big difference for us. The only issue we had was in Lima – for some reason our flight ended up departing and arriving over an hour later than the itinerary which we didn’t catch at first. When we landed at Lima, no one was there to meet us and there was a bit of a delay getting on the road so we had a quick stop at the catacombs and then just dinner.
Overall, I’m very picky with travel, and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in terms of coordination and itinerary! Thanks for making it a memorable one.
We are hoping to make it to Patagonia when the children are a little older so I will be in touch with you guys again!

We just took the trip of a lifetime to Peru with Kuoda in May/June 2025. It was a 16 days private tour with my partner and my friend. The experince with Kuoda was great from start to finish. I first contacted Kuoda late last year and was connected with their Peru expert Molly. Molly was super friendly and helpful, always responds to my email promtply and on-point. She designed the trip itinerary that fits our needs and interestes. She then booked all of the hotels, activities, tickets to Machu Picchu etc and communicated to us clearly. Working with her was a such a breeze!
A few days before the trip, Kuoda created a WhatsApp group for us, which includes their customer service manager as well as their dirctor, so we can easily communicate with them during the trip. We feel so pampered during our entire trip to the Amazon rainforest, Sacred Vally, Machu Picchu, Lake Titikaka and Lima. Everything was arranged and we did not have to worried about anything. Even on our traval days Kuoda prepared high-quality box lunch for us. Kuoda guides we’ve met are all ultimate professionals. They’re very knowledgable of the history and culture of Peru, the flora and fauna of the land, pretty much everything there is to know about the places we visited. I want to send a special shout out to our guide David in Cusco area. All the hotels that Kuoda picked for us are wonderful. Especially the InkaTerra hotel in Aguas Callientes and Tambo del Inka in Urubamba.

I chose this agency for my trip due to the ability to tailor our activities to our interests and to ensure a stress free trip. Kuoda was a perfect fit for what we wanted and service was exceptional. Our guides were knowledgable about each of our sites and added such depth to our experience. At one point our guide waiting in line for us while encouraging us to explore the city. Our entire experience with Kuoda was over the top. That started with my first phone conversation with you a few months ago. Sarah and I feel you folks provided not only a well planned itinerary and support but, followed up every day with us to make sure we were having a great time. Our guides were all so very knowledgeable about every aspect of what we were touring and we soon began to feel like we were traveling with a good friend. I just can’t say enough good things about them! We also truly enjoyed the places we stayed and only wish we could have spent more time at some of them. The service at all the hotels was excellent.

They were super responsive and planned the trip across the whole of Peru based on my photography angle. We finally made the trip in December 2024 and it was simply amazing. We visited Lima, Nazca, Ica, Arequipa, Cusco, Moras, Moray, The Secret Valley, Machu Picchu and the Amazon Jungle in Iquitos. At every location we had English speaking guides as I and my wife do not speak Spanish. The was followed to the dot with amazing experiences and boutique hotels. We absolutely loved our trip to Peru and felt very well cared for from Kuoda. All of the guides, drivers, support staff, etc were very responsive and helpful for this trip.
The food at Huaca Pucllana was the best, with great views of pre-incan ruins. Lucuma is our new favorite desert fruit!
Lunch was good in Pisac, loved the little town of Pisac. We did love all of the colors, and the “vibe” of the town. Hotel Casa Andina is a gorgeous hotel. Room was perfect for the three of us. The bottle feeding of baby Alpaca’s was probably one of the trips highlights for my wife and daughter!
The concentric terraces of Moray are a site to behold. The salt pans unique to see. We were hesitant with the “locally-prepared” lunch, but this apparently was meant to be our surprise, as this was a 5 star gourmet dinning experience! The note about keeping an open mind regarding modern plumbing, dirt roads, etc. was not warranted, as all of the facilities were not bad at all.
Definitely the highlight visit Machu Picchu. Got lucky with the weather.
Tipon was awesome, so amazing the ingenuity of the Incan. The church was surprising, box lunch was good.
Overall, it was perfect with little we would have changed. Would highly recommend Kuoda to anyone traveling to Peru. Thank you.

I don’t think its possible for me to pick what I loved most. As I tried to make a list, it was everything on the itinerary. Kuoda expertly organized everything from start to finish. This included hotels, museum and site tickets, transportation, hands on experiences with coffee making,a distillery and even an incredible pachamanca.
The staff and guides were helpful and knowledgeable.
I cannot say enough about the awesome cooks and the delicious meals prepared on the trail.
Having previously traveled bare-bones budget with a guide book in hand, this was a big change. However. the higher cost was well worth this high quality and memorable adventure. Thank you Kuoda!

HOTELS: The accommodations were all beautiful and the staff were excellent.
MEALS: The prepaid meals were stunning and a lovely highlight. A particular highlight was the lunch after seeing the salt pans. That was really a special meal.Thank you!
EXCURSIONS: All the sites we visited were wonderful. Our family loved the ceramics class and the engaging couple who own the place.
GUIDES: The man who met us at the airport the first night was charming and friendly. A welcome greeting.
MARIA in Lima: She was outstanding! Her energy and ability to share information in an engaging way really lit up our group. She had a great balance of sharing history, humor and current day facts that wove everything together in a really interesting way.
