We are a team of passionate travelers. We love what we do and we view travel as an important part of life. Between us, we have traveled across much of the planet, have a wealth of shared knowledge of many countries, and have many years experience in the tourism industry.
Founder and President
I care deeply about the experience of each and every guest, so I look forward to meeting you in Cusco and hearing about your experience. Remember, you can always call me to ask questions about your trip or just to chat!
A bit about Mery: Mery fell in love with tourism as a young girl working in her parents´ Cusco-based souvenir shop. She founded Kuoda when she saw the need for a company that could better serve visitors to South America by offering truly personalized, unique travel experiences.
Executive Director
My job is to make your travel experience exceptional! That means I manage our fabulous office team and it means that I’ll be checking in with you and your guide each day to make sure you’re having a great time.
A bit about Edson: Edson brings a wealth of tourism industry experience to his role. Incredibly detail- and service-oriented, Edson ensures that each client has that perfect travel experience. He loves the fact that Kuoda works with clients to create their ideal tailor-made vacation. A true Cusqueñan dad, Edson´s spare time is devoted to his son, football and basketball.
Marketing Director
I am delighted to be charged with telling the world about Kuoda! It’s my job to make sure you have all the information about us that you need. And it’s also my job to share what we love about South America with you via our Facebook, Blog and Twitter communities.
A bit about Emily: A Vermonter by birth, a New Yorker by choice and a Cusqueña for love, Emily has over eight years of experience creating marketing strategies and plans for corporations from McGraw-Hill to Brüt Cologne. She is delighted to be telling the world about a company as truly dedicated to its clients and communities as Kuoda is.
Travel Designer
I’m in charge of helping you create the perfect itinerary and then making sure that all details are in place for your arrival. I love birds so make sure to ask me how to best experience South America’s wildlife!
A bit about Thomas: Born and raised in the UK, Thom traveled Europe, Asia and South America before settling in Peru. He loves nature - particularly birds – so he often explores the wonders of the Peruvian countryside. He is also interested in environmental conservation, history, sports, hiking and photography.
Travel Designer
I work with you to create your ideal travel itinerary and then I make sure all of the details of your trip are taken care of. I love helping families have wonderful vacations together!
A bit about Victoria: A native Cusqueña, Victoria is now delighted to be raising her own family in Cusco. She loves introducing visitors to the beauty and culture of her home country and her home town. She creates your itinerary with the care she would take in building a trip for her own family.
Travel Designer
I work with you to develop the perfect itinerary and then, I work with our office team to make sure that everything is ready for your trip. I love off-the-beaten-path experiences, so let me help you have a great one!
A bit about Tom: Tom left London under the spell of South America and toured most of the continent before falling for Cusco and making it his home. He loves exploring, especially of some of South America´s more untouched spots.

A bit about Amanda: Amanda grew up in the heartland of the United States. A true cheese-head and proud Wisconsinite, Amanda has loved travelling since she was a girl. Amanda lives in Cusco and enjoys sightseeing in the city as well as travelling around the Cusco area.
Operations Manager
I work with your Travel Designer and our office team to make sure that all of the behind-the-scenes details that will make your trip great are in place!
A bit about Cinthia: Cinthia has a passion for traveling and a great deal of concern for other people, making her the ideal fit as Kuoda's Operations Manager. She takes care of clients as if they were family, and wants them to return home knowing they have friends in her home town of Cusco. She thrives on the responsibility and creativity inherent in her job.
Reservations Supervisor
I make sure that your hotels, flights and tours are booked for you! And, I even look for upgrades and ensure that you get special treatment, wherever you are.
A bit about David: With an extensive background in administration for the financial and tourism industries, as well as long experience as a tour guide, David possesses the perfect combination of attention to detail and people skills. He loves introducing travelers to the best of South America, and, when he has a free moment, enjoys playing high altitude football.
Chief Financial Officer
I make sure that Kuoda works financially. And I love that I get to do that for a company that is devoted to making you happy and that is devoted to the sustainability of local cultures and the environment!
A bit about Nadia: Hailing from a large Cusqueñan family, Nadia has over six ten years of experience in the tourism industry. She began her career in accounting before attending the prestigious Tupac Amaru Institute of Tourism and went on to work with some of the region’s most prestigious institutions, including Cusco’s Libertador.
IT Director and Interactive Designer
I make sure our website has everything you need to know about Kuoda! And I also make sure you can get in touch with us whenever you need us!
A bit about Victor: Born in Cusco, Victor trained as a web designer. Along with extensive design experience, he brings his excellent design sensibility to Kuoda. A true lover of technology, he is never far from his computer and spends much of his free time experimenting with programs.
Accountant
I help Nadia make sure Kuoda works financially!
A bit about Mariela: Born in Cusco, Mariela has loved numbers since early childhood. She studied business accounting and graduated with honors. Mariela feels that she has learned a lot from working with Kuoda, not just as an accountant, but also from Kuoda's strong sense of teamwork and dedication to sustainable travel.
Logistics Coordinator
I work with our great office team to make sure your trip is perfect, which means you don’t have to worry about a thing!
A bit about Orlando: Orlando fell in love with tourism and went on to complete his studies in the field before joining Kuoda. He loves the challenge of perfectly coordinating trip details so that Kuoda clients have a seamless experience, and he enjoys constantly learning about South America´s best hotels, restaurants and guides.
