We just returned from a three week tour of Peru (with 3 days in Bolivia). We have always planned all of our own vacations, but the complicated logistics were better served by a tour company. Kuoda is based in Cusco and provided us with excellent guides and drivers who took care of everything. All we had to do was sit back and marvel. As well as Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca, Tiwanaku and the sacred islands in Bolivia, we also went fishing for and swimming with piranha, as well as a taking a canopy walk in the Madre de Dios jungle. Kuoda went out of their way to find us the best accommodations possible. When one hotel took it upon themselves to upgrade us to a room that we did not like, Mery (the company owner) came to the hotel twice to make sure that we were happy. They understood who we were and what we wanted and they gave us a tour that was completely customized to our requests. Our only problem was that we did not stay longer.
