Our Kuoda journey was even more enjoyable than we had expected. Peru is a beautiful country and the people we met were always warm and kind. Our tour coordinator Celine created a wonderful itinerary and everyone on the Kuoda team went over and above to make our tour an extraordinary experience. The hotels were outstanding and the local cuisine was impressive!

The experienced guides, especially Santiago (Sacred Valley, Cusco and Machu Picchu), were both knowledgeable and personable. As an ‘over 60’ group, he made sure that all our needs and preferences were addressed and dealt with a few altitude sickness problems in an expedient and professional manner. Kuoda not only provided walking sticks but also an assistant guide for the more strenuous portion of the tour so there was always someone there to provide a much needed ‘helping hand.’

We were all concerned when one of our group members became seriously ill. Again, the owner Mery and her capable staff were there to insure that he was able to get the care required.

My only suggestion to Kuoda might be to reinforce to travelers of any age that portions of this tour are strenuous, especially given the high altitudes.
