It was lovely to see you in Cusco.  You live in a very interesting city!  Thank you for making the effort to come to meet us.  We appreciate it.

The service we received from Kuoda was excellent from start to finish.  I would not hesitate to  recommend your tour company.  Jimmy was an exceptional guide who made his explanations of his tour lively and informative.  Orlando quietly drove us safely to our destinations and was always there if we needed help.  It was also a pleasant surprise to meet Mery at our Cusco hotel after we had left you.

As I explained to Mery, we had a great tour, loved the hotels [except the Lima airport hotel, which, however, served its purpose] and were very impressed with the way the plan was changed to suit the circumstances of the strike.  We all thoroughly enjoyed our day of rest at Sol y Luna.  What an amazing setting!  The food at the Sumac was delicious and we really enjoyed the chicken soup at the Casa Cartegena.

I also mentioned to Mery that I would have really liked to have had a tour of the Cathedral in Cusco.  I did go in by myself but it would have been much more interesting to have had a guide with me to point out the special items [though I did see the famous Last Supper painting].  I didn’t get to see the Jesuit church.  However, I can appreciate that not everyone was as keen to see the churches as I was.  Seeing so many people enjoying the sunny Sunday parade in the Plaza was an unexpected treat.

What an exciting trip it was!  I haven’t looked at my photos yet as it will take a while to edit my way through a couple of thousand pictures!
