It was a great trip and I am so very pleased with Kuoda. I had thought about organizing it all myself but really appreciated having someone on the ground to do it all, especially when things did not go according to plan like when my daughter fell ill or when our flight to Cuzco was delayed and we had to change  our itinerary. Also have to mention that all the hotels chosen were fantastic especially the one in Lima.

I provided some feedback to Mery before we left for the rain forest. Highlights for us up till then we’re the trek to MP, tough but oh so exhilarating when we arrived at MP and so pleased with the hotel in MP expensive but worth every penny. Another highlight was the lunch in Sacred Valley at Casa de Aida! Will not forget that!

Btw, we really enjoyed the inkaterra Reserva and pleased we chose it over the the other Lodge as we preferred having the river views. Thought the facilities were great as were the guides. Only negative was one of the excursions was tough as we had to slog through and back a 3 km trail in the mud! Glad we only stayed for 2 nights which was perfect. We were ready to leave by the 3rd day!

As I mentioned we absolutely adored staying at the Miraflores Park. Fabulous location and great service.  Also the visit to the private home in Lima was great! In Lima we added on our own a visit to the Larco museum which we would not have done if we had not been to their museum in Cuzco which we really enjoyed.

Again, we were so pleased to have chosen Kuoda for what was for us a magical experience.

We definitely want to return to South America. I think Ecuador and Galapagos are next!
