The first time I contacted some months ago I had our needs attended too – initially with Lotte who organised the Itinerary with me – and what a great job she did! We had 6 days enjoying The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. The days were exactly how we liked them – informative and designed for my husband and I to have fun filled and unbelievable experience. She listened to our needs and that we liked to walk etc and the attention to detail was unreal. She also came to meet us for lunch in Cusco just to see how our tour went and any feedback – another gesture that made our tour personal.

We were picked up by our guide Jose Carlos and driver Juan in Cusco and formed a strong bond with both these guys over the next few days – Jose Carlos was exceptionally great guide who was passionate for his country and history. He was informative and not “over the top” and very easy to be with and listen too. Jose Carlos was very “hands on” to show us the traditions with playing instruments and showing us different ways to distinguish the culture. He was with us for Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu and Cusco as was our driver Juan. What a charming man for his little English, he showed us such warmth and we both loved his company. Juan was waiting for us on the platform after Machu Picchu- the train couldn’t stop at normal platform in town and had to change due to flooding- most of the people from the train were taken to more buses to get to their destination however we were picked up and after a long day couldn’t of been more pleasantly received- one of the small things that attention to detail that Kuoda offer.

Juan drove us back to Cusco and on booking in we were met by a representative of Kuoda young Alex Baca- this was just to see if we were booked in ok and if there was anything he could do for us- I couldn’t believe this “extra” service – he had organised an upgraded room – with a spa bath which was well received after all our walking – Alex also organised our boarding passes and then came with Juan to take us to the airport – he booked us in and spoke perfect english – a fine young man.

We were very lucky to meet Mery the owner of Kuoda- what at charismic, dynamic person driven to provide the perfect holiday and more for visitors to South America- she is passionate with her staff (who she calls family) and want everyone to have lasting memories of their visit.

We had an amazing time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kuoda Travel- their vision is amazing!
