After the obligatory Internet search and Trip Advisor review preceeding our first trip to South America, I placed the call to Kuoda. Molly was friendly and informative but more importantly, focused on our interests, timeline, budget and prior travel experiences. She followed-up and followed-through on every detail including a mid-trip email detailing the potential impact of a likely strike in Cusco.

From the moment we landed in Cusco our entire experience with Kuoda was remarkable. Our local tour guide and constant companion; Edwin’s knowledge, passion, enthusiasm and professionalism were outdone only by his constant attention to and concern for our experience. As a group of 6 ranging in age from 24 to 83 this was no small task, particularly on our one day Inca Trail hike to the Sun Gate and Machu Picchu.

All or our accommodations, meals and transportation were first rate. Our schedule was completely flexible spending as much or as little time at each and every site as we desired. Kuoda delivers a truly first class, personalized travel adventure that is second to none.

The icing on the cake was the unexpected pleasure of meeting Kuoda’s founder/owner, Mery Calderon in the lobby of our hotel in Cusco as we were checking out for the journey home. Mery’s personal attention to and concern for our well being was reflected in our every experience with Kuoda. We loved our time in Peru with Kuoda giving them our highest recommendation.
