We used Kouda for the Peru leg of a three week trip to South America and the entire experience with Kouda, was exceptional.

From the moment we arrived in Lima, until the time we left we were very well taken care of by their team at every step of the trip. Airport meetings and transfers were seamless at every stop.

Our guide and driver for three days in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu (Ofelia and Mr. Juan) were both exceptional. Ofelia got us on and off buses and trains seamlessly with the right seating and views.

Her commentary was knowledgeable, insightful, informative and delightful. Mr. Juan knows all the short-cuts and tricks that got us where we needed to be when we needed to be there.

Every question we asked Ofelia had a clear answer and when “eavesdropping” on other guides we knew we were getting much better information.

All hotels they selected were 5 star with excellent room selection and staffs who clearly knew Kouda had booked for us and provided an extra level of service based on that knowledge. The “included lunch” in Cusco after our arrival wasn’t a “basic” lunch at a restaurant, but rather a 5 star lunch at the exclusive Inkaterra Hotel in Cusco; an, exceptional welcome to the city.

Other notable highlights were the personally prepared “in-home” lunch at with the Aida family in their beautiful Sacred Valley home. The departure visit in Cusco from Kouda’s Founder/Director for a personal assessment of our trip with them was unexpected, very nice and much appreciated personal touch.

We highly recommend this team to who’s traveling to Peru, and if we’re returning in the future our agency selection will be certainly Kouda Travel.
