We have recently returned from the most amazing trip to Peru with Kuoda Travel. The ever patient Tom put together a fabulous itinerary with many extra’s that we never would have experienced as part of a group tour or without his expert knowledge of the area. Our main reason for visiting was to walk the Inca Trail (which lived up to expectations!), but thanks to Kuoda & Tom we left feeling like we had not just seen the sights, but seen the way of life for the Peruvian people.
Unfortunately there were teacher strikes and protests whilst we were there and this created some disruption to our planned itinerary, but Kuoda went above and beyond to minimise this and delivered a level of customer service which I have seldom (if ever) experienced. I can imagine the effort this took for them to coordinate alternate plans and itineraries for so many clients due to the disruptions caused by the protests (closed airports / road blocks) and if we hadn’t have had Kuoda there re-routing and changing our flights/transfers/tours etc it could have had a potentially devastating impact on our trip.

The accommodation organised was all exceptional, the day tours and guides excellent and we really enjoyed the many lunches along the way, at either local homes, small local restaurants or other special locations. The Inca Trail tour they put us on was amazing with a wonderful guide and porters, top notch camping equipment and excellent food.

Big thanks to Tom & Jason from Kuoda and Guido and our other guides along the way for making such a memorable holiday for us. I absolutely recommend Kuoda Travel for anyone travelling to Peru.
