Normally my wife and I will plan our own trips and do things without the assistance of an agent or guide, but in this case we were going to Peru for a wedding and wanted to make the most out of our trip with the little time we had. We looked up the top 3 rated companies and Kouda was 1 of them. I am not sure how the other 2 were in the top 3 because the initial level of contact was night and day. We began our conversation with Corey who was very detailed, patient, and knowledgeable. She had no issues making changes and sending new itineraries and taking our calls to answer tons of questions. She worked within out budget and sent us an itinerary that worked for our group and met 100% of what we wanted to do!

So we flew out from Lima to Cusco and things started with a hiccup (no fault of Kuoda). Our flight was delayed, and delayed, and delayed and finally cancelled. Our local guy on the ground Alex called me up and told me exactly what to do. He was able to guide us and get us on a plane ASAP and we were only set back 3 hours or so. Half of our group flew out on time and so they got started and then they arranged for those who flew in late to catch up and not miss anything on schedule. Alex who continued to check in with us throughout the trip made sure everything was ok throughout the trip.

Our guide Luis was amazing, he was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He fine tuned everything to what we wanted. (we are a complicated bunch, so this task is not so easy). You could tell Luis was very passionate about his job and country. He was like one of the family from the moment he picked us up. We have amazing memories and knowledge thanks to him.

Upon arriving to the airport for our departure, we were met by Alex and Mery with some parting gifts and warm hugs. I must say the professional nature of everyone at Kuoda was matched with and amazing sense of warmth and caring nature. You really feel like family with all of them. Then, when we had flight issues as well departing Alex was there to rescue us. He was even telling me he was turning around to come see us, but we were able to resolve it over the phone.

Long story short, if you are in doubt of who to chose for your travel in Peru please chose Kuoda.
