I recently returned from a 12 day vacation with my mother and sisters, to Cusco, The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Lima.

I took a chance (after finding just a few TA reviews) and made all of my reservations online with Kuoda. From my first encounter and booking experience with Jonathan, Kuoda has been a wonderful company to work with. I have to say, the trip was flawless. Jonathan, our reservation agent, crafted a custom, PRIVATE, tour for the 4 of us, that included all of the highlights we’d asked for and more, that we didn’t know we wanted (and would love!)

He booked first rate hotels and meals for us. Our hosts, guides and drivers were exceptional in their knowledge and professionalism. We spent the most time with our Cusco guide, Ofelia and driver, Juan. (and host Alex) They were SO patient with our questions and shopping! I feel like we made some true friends. In Lima our host was Dania and our guide was Ruth, our driver Cesar. Very informative and lovely folks.

I feel that we had a level of custom, private, tour that far exceeded my expectations, and cost no more than a US group tour with 30 people on a big bus. Kuoda Tours helped us to share a dream of our mother’s. The owner, Mary Calderon, topped it off with a personal visit in Cusco, just to make sure everything had gone well. It definitely had!!
