Our family spent 10 days in Peru over the December holidays in a trip of a lifetime planned by Kuoda Travel.Our family has traveled all over the world and Kuoda was head and shoulders the best travel agent we have ever dealt with.
It started with meticulous planning by our contact Tom and continued throughout the trip with our guides including David, who we spent the most time with during our time in Cusco, the Sacred Valley and in Machu Picchu.
We loved the intimate lunches an locals’ homes which were not open to the public. We hiked, visited many Inca sites, shopped and had the most spectacular trip. We had contact and support from Jason, Manuel and the owner, Mery, to name a few.
At every turn they went above and beyond our expectations. Our son was sick on the trip and they arranged for a doctor’s appointment and helped with translation and ensured he was properly cared for.On the return trip from Cusco, our flight was cancelled but they took care of everything to get us rebooked for the same day.Due to delays, it was likely we were going to miss our connection in Lima back to the states but they had Manuel and another Kuoda employee waiting for us in Lima as we arrived. Only with their help did we make our connection. I cannot more highly recommend using Kuoda Travel if you are considering a Peruvian adventure or any kind.
