Even there were no festivals people were playing instruments, singing songs lighting fireworks and celebrating. We were told this is common on Friday and Saturday nights. Thousands of people lined the streets and for us that is so incredibly unique. This is so very different from home. We do not have the same sense of celebration or joy in our country. Bolivia, and I expect South American countries share that in common.

Each city we visited was the same. In fact, when we were in Potosi a band in the hotel or nearby played until 4:30 a.m. Just pure celebration. Now that’s what we call living!

We found the Bolivians to be very polite, hardworking people with much pride. From the moment we landed on Bolivian soil we felt at home. We also found the people to be very honest and genuine which was most refreshing.

Service throughout was exemplary.
